Investiture Ceremony

GD Goenka School Indirapuram conducted an investiture *ceremony* to hand over responsibilities to the students’ council members.
The council members and the house captains marched to the beats of drums. Heading the group was students’ council Head Boy Aryan Singh and flanking him was the Head girl Saanvi Datta, followed by the House Captains, Nishtha Dua, Bhavya Sharma, Muskan Singh and Jahnavi Saxena bearing the house flags. Sport Captain Ujjwal Anand and Sejal Chaudhary were followed by the students’ council. The school Principal Ms Taruna Kapoor conferred badges and sashes on the leaders. She administered the oath to the council and house appointees. In her address to the council, she expressed her pride at their achievement and made the leaders realised their responsibility towards the school. She encouraged them to bear the baton with honesty and steadfastness. The school song echoed in the hearts of Goenkans. The school children were filled with enthusiasm for a brighter future.
