Investiture Ceremony 2023 24
Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life.
To inculcate leadership qualities in students and to provide them with a feel of a functioning administrative body, a school council was constituted at G.D.Goenka School, Indirapuram and the Investiture Ceremony was held on Wednesday, 9 August 2023. The Director of Academics, Mrs Smita Malhotra was the Special Guest of the day.
The ceremony commenced with a prayer. The newly elected Council Members marched onto the stage and stood upright with their heads held high and their hearts full of righteousness. The Director of Academics, Mrs Smita Malhotra offered badges to each council member and adorned them with sashes. Ms Vandana Moudgil, the Headmistress administered the oath of office and encouraged the students to be committed to important issues and to always remember that leadership comes with integrity. She wished the entire team, success and victory in all their endeavours. The members of the council pledged to adhere to the values and principles upheld by the School. The Director of Academics, Mrs Smita Malhotra emphasized the importance of discipline and the dignity of the individual and the school in her address to the students. The whole stage lit up with vibrant colours of different flags and the event reinstated the faith in the calibre and leadership of the future generation. It was a memorable occasion for the young leaders as they looked forward to a new, eventful and enriching academic year.
